UNRWA Web Camps Provide Essential Services to Palestine Refugees

Camps Located in Five Countries

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) operates Web Camps in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip to provide essential services to Palestine refugees.

Refugee Camp Population

Nearly one-third of the registered Palestine refugees, totaling over 15 million individuals, reside in 58 recognized Palestine refugee camps in Jordan. Most Palestinian refugees live in or near 68 Palestinian refugee camps located across Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip.

UNRWA Services

In Gaza, 1,476,706 Palestinians are registered as refugees in eight camps. UNRWA's human development and humanitarian services include primary and vocational education, primary health care, and relief assistance.
