Jamie Foxx signs deal to revive NFL-themed comedy show

Foxx joins Snoop Dogg as co-hosts of reboot of 'Around the NFL' on new streaming service

Coming soon to Peacock, the show will mix NFL news, comedy and celebrity guests

Jamie Foxx is joining Snoop Dogg as co-hosts of the rebooted NFL-themed comedy show "Around the NFL." The show, which will premiere on Peacock in September, will mix NFL news, comedy and celebrity guests. It is being produced by NFL Films and will be available on Peacock, NBCUniversal's streaming service.

Foxx and Snoop Dogg are both big NFL fans and have a history of working together. They previously starred together in the 2018 film "22 Jump Street." Snoop Dogg has also hosted "Around the NFL" in the past.

The original "Around the NFL" ran from 2006 to 2019 on NFL Network. It was hosted by Rich Eisen, who left the show in 2019 to join the NFL on Fox.

The reboot of "Around the NFL" is part of Peacock's efforts to attract more sports fans. The streaming service has already acquired the rights to stream Thursday Night Football games and the Premier League.

Foxx and Snoop Dogg are excited to bring "Around the NFL" back to television. They believe that the show will be a fun and informative way for fans to stay up-to-date on the latest NFL news.

"We're going to have a lot of fun with this show," Foxx said. "We're going to talk about the NFL, we're going to have some laughs, and we're going to have some special guests. It's going to be a great show for football fans."

"I'm excited to be back on 'Around the NFL,'" Snoop Dogg said. "This show is a great way to connect with football fans and talk about the game we all love. I can't wait to get started with Jamie Foxx and the rest of the team."
